Yggdrasil enhances YG Masters portfolio via Jelly Entertainment’s new Buffalo Blox Gigablox™ video slot
Up-and-coming real-money game studio Jelly has released its latest title as part of YG Masters program, Buffalo Blox Gigablox, which sees players transported to the Great Plains of North America in search of a “thunderous” payout worth €229,120!
Powered by Yggdrasil‘s state-of-the-art game adaptation tool & interface (GATI) technology, the high volatility 5-reel, 20 fixed payline video slot gives players the chance to land huge blocks up to 4×4 in size – thanks to the Gigablox game engagement mechanic (GEM) – along with super stacked buffalos and special coins that pay on any spin.
“our talented team has knocked it out of the park with this slot”
Wins are created by landing three or more matching symbols from left to right on adjacent reels starting from the first reel. Symbols here comprise 9, 10, J, Q, K and A card ranks as the low pays while the high pays consist of a wolf, eagle, bear and buffalo head, which head can land stacked, and some gold coins are wild and substitute for all symbols except for the diamond scatter symbol.
Free Spins & Buffalo Bet:
Landing six or more gold coins during the same spin awards an instant cash prize and if a player should be lucky enough to hit all 20 gold coins in free spins, they will trigger a payout worth 2,500x the bet.
The game’s free spin bonus can be activated by landing at least five of the diamond scatter symbols on the reels. Each of the triggering diamond symbols awards 1 or 2 free spins per.
If during the free spins feature any additional diamonds land, the bonus will automatically retrigger bringing even more super stacked buffalo and gold symbols in play.
The Buffalo Bet, meanwhile, can be activated in the base game, raising the bet by 25 percent to boost the chance of triggering free spins. Activating the Buffalo Bet does not change the value of symbols.
Gigablox Mechanic:
“We’re absolutely delighted to have been able to incorporate the Gigablox™ mechanic into one of our games. With a popular and established theme and immersive features, our talented team has knocked it out of the park with this slot and we’re excited for players to get their hands on it,” read a statement from Victoria Newbolt, Marketing Lead for Jelly.
The latest release is the London-headquartered game development studio’s fifth contribution to Yggdrasil’s flourishing YG Masters program, following Big Benji Bonanza, Achilles, Valhalla Saga: Thunder of Thor, and another wildlife-inspired title, Savanna Roar. It also follows the recently released Tempered Steel, from UK-based partner studio Bulletproof Games.
Consistent Releases:
Also commenting on the new game, Stuart McCarthy, Head of Product & Programs for Yggdrasil, said Jelly has “consistently released great games as part of the YG Masters program over the last two years, and Buffalo Blox Gigablox™ is certainly no exception.”
McCarthy went on to explain that seeing their YG Masters partners make use of their successful GEM Gigablox is “super pleasing” for them and “highlights the value that a great mechanic can have to enhance the player experience.”
Key Distribution Partner:
Earlier this year, Jelly joined iGaming technology supplier EveryMatrix’s gaming aggregation platform SlotMatrix, allowing it to build, manage and distribute its titles to an extensive network of worldwide operators.
